Install AlphaWhisper

Under a minute · no app store · same account

AlphaWhisper is built as an installable web app. Add it to your phone, Mac or PC and it opens full screen with its own icon, no address bar, no browser tabs, and it stays signed in. It is the same platform you use in the browser, just a better seat.

1 · Why install it

Why install instead of a browser tab

Full screenNo address bar or tab strip. On a phone that is a whole extra row of the Gravity map and the Mantis blotter.
One tap from the home screenIts own icon on your phone, Dock or taskbar. Open it like any other app at 6:25 AM.
Stays signed inThe installed app keeps its own session, so you are not re-logging in from a browser that cleared cookies.
Faster to openThe app shell is cached on the device. Live data still comes from the server every time, nothing stale.

Alerts still arrive in Discord. Installing the app does not change how alerts work; it changes how fast you can act on one.

2 · iPhone and iPad

iPhone and iPad

Safari
  1. Open alphawhisper.ai in Safari and sign in. It has to be Safari itself, not the browser that opens inside Discord, Gmail or Instagram. If you got here from a link in another app, tap the or compass icon and choose Open in Safari first.
  2. Tap the Share button: the square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen on iPhone, top right on iPad.
  3. Scroll the sheet down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Leave the name as AlphaWhisper and tap Add in the top right corner.
  5. Find the icon on your home screen and open it from there from now on. Sign in once inside the app; it remembers you.
Chrome on iPhone

Chrome for iOS can do the same: tap the menu, then Add to Home Screen, then Add. This needs iOS 16.4 or later.

Tip: on iPhone the installed app and Safari keep separate sign-ins. If the installed app ever asks you to sign in, that is normal the first time. It does not sign you out of Safari.
3 · Android

Android phones and tablets

Chrome
  1. Open alphawhisper.ai in Chrome and sign in.
  2. Chrome usually shows an Install banner at the bottom on its own. If it does, tap it and you are done.
  3. Otherwise tap the menu in the top right and choose Install app (on some phones it reads Add to Home screen).
  4. Tap Install. The icon lands on your home screen and in the app drawer like any Play Store app.
Samsung Internet, Edge, Brave

Same idea: open the browser menu and look for Add page toHome screen (Samsung) or Install app / Add to phone (Edge, Brave).

4 · Mac

Mac

Safari (macOS Sonoma or later)
  1. Open alphawhisper.ai in Safari and sign in.
  2. In the menu bar choose File → Add to Dock. You can also click the Share button in the toolbar and pick Add to Dock.
  3. Confirm the name AlphaWhisper and click Add.
  4. It now lives in the Dock and in Launchpad, opens in its own window, and shows up in ⌘ Tab like a native app.
Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc
  1. Open alphawhisper.ai and sign in.
  2. Look at the right end of the address bar for the install icon: a small monitor with a down arrow. Click it, then Install.
  3. If the icon is not there: Chrome Cast, save, and shareInstall page as app. Edge AppsInstall this site as an app. Arc: File → Install AlphaWhisper.
  4. The app opens in its own window. Right-click the Dock icon and choose Options → Keep in Dock so it stays put.
Firefox on desktop does not support installing web apps. Use Safari, Chrome or Edge for the install, then use whichever you like for everything else.
5 · Windows

Windows 10 and 11

Chrome
  1. Open alphawhisper.ai in Chrome and sign in.
  2. Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar (a monitor with a down arrow), then Install. Or use Cast, save, and shareInstall page as app.
  3. Windows adds it to the Start menu. Right-click the taskbar icon while it is open and choose Pin to taskbar.
Microsoft Edge
  1. Open alphawhisper.ai in Edge and sign in.
  2. Click the install icon in the address bar, or AppsInstall this site as an app.
  3. Click Install, then tick Pin to taskbar and Pin to Start when Edge offers them.

Brave and other Chromium browsers work exactly like Chrome.

6 · Updates and sign-in

Updates and sign-in

  • Updates are automatic. When a new release ships, the app picks it up on the next open and reloads itself once. There is nothing to download.
  • If something looks stale, close the app completely (swipe it away on a phone, quit it on desktop) and open it again. That forces the newest build.
  • Sign-in is per device and per app. The installed app and the browser each keep their own session. Sign in once in the installed app and it stays signed in.
  • Same account, same plan. Installing does not create anything new. Your plan, Discord link and settings carry over.
7 · Troubleshooting

If the install option is missing

  • iPhone: no "Add to Home Screen". You are in an in-app browser (Discord, Gmail, X, Instagram). Open the page in Safari itself and try again.
  • Chrome or Edge: no install icon. Either it is already installed (look in the Start menu, Launchpad, or type chrome://apps in the address bar) or the page has not finished loading. Reload and wait a few seconds.
  • Firefox. No desktop install support. Use Safari, Chrome or Edge for this step.
  • The app opens but shows the login page. Normal on first open. Sign in once.
  • Charts look wrong after an update. Quit the app fully and reopen. If it persists, remove the app (section 8) and install it again. Your account is untouched.
8 · Removing it

Removing the app

  • iPhone and iPad: hold the icon, tap Remove App, then Delete.
  • Android: hold the icon and drag to Uninstall, or Settings → Apps → AlphaWhisper → Uninstall.
  • Mac (Safari): drag it out of the Dock, or delete it from the Applications folder. Mac (Chrome/Edge): open the app, click in its title bar, then Uninstall AlphaWhisper.
  • Windows: Settings → Apps → Installed apps → AlphaWhisper → Uninstall, or right-click it in the Start menu.

Removing the app never touches your account, your plan or your settings. Installing it again takes the same minute it took the first time.
